Neil W. Anderson

Neil W. Anderson, a native of Washington State, worked as a Bible translator with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years. He now lives in Spokane, WA with his wife Carol, where he is an associate pastor, discipling and encouraging Christian believers in the Spokane area. He loves woodworking, hiking, having coffee with good friends and bringing out the gifts and value of everyone around him.
Neil co-wrote the book In Search of the Source, with Hyatt Moore about this experience translating the Bible for the Folopa people in Papua New Guinea. With an exciting collection of stories, Neil describes how the Folopas responded to hearing God’s word in their own language for the first time and how it impacted their tribal culture.
Neil is a well known storyteller. Drawing from his memories of his days as a farm hand as a teenager, he came up with a little story he called The Parable of the Field Mouse as an illustration for a sermon about generosity. It quickly became a favorite among his many stories. Many years later, his daughter Wendy fleshed out the story and characters, put it to poetry and illustrated it so that children everywhere could enjoy the story.
Neil ministers at Three Crosses Church in Spokane, WA.

Neil is a grandpa to 10 grandkids.
